Hm, I used to have that problem too, and with my eyeshadow getting all gunked up on my lids because I have really oily skin, but a really good primer sorts that out (Ruby&Millie Face, Too-Faced Shadow Insurance, Urban Decay Primer Potion, anything like that, and I think they each run to about 10 quid, (18ish dollars) each so its really not too expensive!)

I find layering on the waterline really works, like, a layer of kohl, then a layer of powder, then a layer of liquid, then a layer of powder, etc. and not going right into the inner corner too, cause otherwise anything that comes out of your tear ducts will soak right into it and it goes way manky, and it all collects in the inner corner of my eye in a big gloopy lump so, I avoid tear ducts! or just pressing powder right into the lower lashes, missing out the actual waterline skin works too, also makes the eyes look bigger cause theres a gap between eyeball and lash, altho thats not a problem for you cause your eyes are really big! im so jealous lol.

One thing thats really good if you don’t have alot of money but want designer brands, is the internet, I’ve found so much really good stuff dead cheap on outlet websites or ebay or whatever :) long as you’re careful to avoid scams then its all good! I’m a student so sometimes I have more money than I know what to do with and sometimes I’m so skint I’m smoking roll-ups and eating cold baked beans lol.

I’m not sure if I’d ever go into a dollar store to be honest :p but I’l have a look next time I’m out!

I guess if the glue doesnt hold very well, that lash glue would work, hmmm.

And I know, right, it really is a good palette, its amongst my favorite makeup at the moment! I have this loooong list of every day essentials and its right at the top!

atm my other everyday if-i-dont-use-this-i-will-die products are;

  • MAC StudioFix (I have really bad skin lol)
  • Boi-ing by BeneFit
  • Powderflage by BeneFit
  • Ruby&Millie Face primer
  • Maybeline Define-A-Lash mascara (or BadGal by BeneFit but I ran out :( )
  • MAC blotting powder
  • Eleysambre blush/benetint by BeneFit

I think thats it lol

What are your everyday must-haves?

and yeah gel liners are really cool, but I can never be bothered on my upper lashline, I always use a kohl stick liner and then get a liiitttle bit of black eyeshadow on a thin brush and then blend into the kohl so its definatly dark and defined near the lashes but blends into the colour so theres no harsh line - But I have found that (because normally if u put eyeshadow on top of kohl on your waterline it makes it last longer but the powder gets in your eye and hurts) gel liners last so much longer on your lashline - I guess cause its gel its a bit more waterproof or something :S!
